MMA’s favorite new heavyweight, Brett Rogers is officially reppin’ for Remetee! The fearless “Grim” who knocked out former UFC- Heavyweight Champion Andre Arlovski (in twenty-two seconds) takes on the undisputed MMA Heavyweight champ Fedor Emelianenko this weekend. After defeating Arlovski, Rogers became a household name. With a 10-0 record (9 KOs), Rogers brings a different fight then Fedor has faced in the past. “I’m not a patty-cake fighter,” Rogers states- he comes to win. But can he? MMA fans are spoiling for a good match, and undefeated- Rogers definitely has a chance against Fedor. MMA Analyst Frank Shamrock says that, “Everyone has a chance in mixed martial arts… regardless of who they are”; while Sport Illustrated writer Josh Gross says [that Rogers has a chance if he] “Connects with Fedor… also, he has a unique advantage because Fedor has never fought in a cage”.
Since the fight will be aired on network television (CBS), Rogers has gotten all kinds of press. CBS has all kinds of footage of Rogers and his epic battles (be sure to check out the CBS video below of Rogers preparing for his fight against Fedor). We like the publicity- and we like that he is always wearing Remetee! Go Grim!
